Stormy and bold, Garnet is an abstract work full of smoky powerful colors. I created this piece during an artist residency where I ran wild with the colors. The result is something that connects to the inner inspiration and wildness that we all hold. The name Garnet comes from the dark reds in the painting and is also my birthstone. This piece is one of the featured works in my Facets series. There are colors that are not fully light-fast and it should be protected from the direct sun.
