Hello, I'm Camille.
I’m an artist living with narcolepsy, a rare neurological condition where the brain fails to correctly maintain a predictable wake, sleep, and dream cycle. Thus, the levels of consciousness become blurred, characteristics of dream manifest in the waking body. I explore the concepts of liminality and boundaries through my watercolor paintings. Paint is applied wet on wet and allowed to dry with minimal interference - resulting in a surprise shaped by air currents, evaporation, and gravity.
