Hello, I'm Tamara G.
I'm ia Brooklyn-based artist, urban planner, and advocate. I've always had an interest in visual arts, drawing and painting from when I was young. At the same time, I love cities and the ways that they can foster unusual connections between people and ideas.
I have never followed a straight path, but instead pursued wide-ranging interests across sectors including arts & culture nonprofits, community organizing, and city government. Through all these shifts, I have sustained my own visual arts practice. My most recent work brings together painting, drawing, and collage, reflecting the layered connections I find between people, places, and ideas.
