Hello! There is nothing quite like watching watercolor bloom, shift and travel across along a sheet of whatever surface I am painting on. I have been enamored with this medium since I was a child (I am on the verge of 56) and given the traditional watercolor set. Self-taught by practice and pure joy. I had many wonderful art instructors over the years and in the last decade, I attended The New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts where I took Color and Design with realist master Auzeklis Ozols. I took 3 levels of drawing and painting with gouache with artist and illustrator Jean Cassels. They both changed my artistic self forever.
I would classify myself as an intuitive artist. Favoring abstract expressionism with watercolors and graphite on Yupo and hot press watercolor paper. I also make 3 stone bead necklaces that I keep in an Etsy shop. Forever inspired by nature and dreams. Art is my place of peace and serenity and hope.
